CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care allows students who are already working in an early childhood setting or would like to commence a career in early childhood, to formalise their qualifications.
This course will provide you with the fundamental knowledge and experience to move into a career in childcare, working within early education or care settings. CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is the minimum qualification that allows educators to work in early childhood services in Australia, including long day care, family day care, kindergartens, and school aged care services. About the Course
In order to complete this qualification and begin your career in early education, students are required to complete 120 hours of work placement in an approved early childhood service. Work placement is a fantastic way to put your knowledge learned throughout the earlier stages of the course to practice within a real work environment through real situations. Completion time for this course is 12-18 months, giving students a broad range of time allowing for better study planning around individual circumstances.
Students will gain the skills required to interact with children, create safe and healthy environments, respond to children’s daily care requirements as well as their social, emotional and developmental needs; assist educators in setting up and implementing programs and care routines for children.
On completion of this course your knowledge and real-life training will ensure that you are ready to step directly into professional employment.
